Chason Jia

Chason Jia is a Full Stack Developer at Nexvo Solutions, helping build reliable digital solutions that are easy to use, perform well, and support real business needs.

With nine years of software development experience, Chason has worked on production systems across web and mobile development. He spent six years at Baidu, where his work shipped inside Baidu Maps and supported products used by hundreds of millions of users. He is also currently supporting technology projects with Manitoba Hydro International, adding to his experience in enterprise systems, public utilities, and production software environments.

At Nexvo, Chason works across web interfaces, backend systems, APIs, databases, deployment, and application maintenance. His background includes full-stack development, cloud and AI technologies, databases, and AI-assisted development tools.

Chason holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Web Development from the University of Winnipeg PACE, and an AWS certification in Cloud and AI.

Outside of work, he enjoys learning new technologies, building side projects, staying active, playing video games, and is proud of building TalkLingo – Shadowing in English, an iOS app that helps users improve their English speaking skills.
