Tom Tran is the Director of XR at Nexvo Solutions, leading the creative and technical development of immersive experiences that help organizations train, visualize, and work in safer, more effective ways.

With more than 20 years in 3D production across games, animated features, AR/VR, and XR, Tom brings Nexvo a rare blend of creative direction, technical execution, and real-time production experience. His career includes nearly seven years at Ubisoft Singapore, where he served as Senior Artist on Assassin’s Creed Unity, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, and Ghost Recon Future Soldier, and Lead Artist on Ghost Recon Phantoms.

Tom’s work spans modeling, animation, rigging, lighting, optimization, Unity development, and technical problem-solving. He has also contributed to VR safety training projects in Winnipeg, using devices like Oculus to turn complex workplace scenarios into practical, interactive learning environments.

At Nexvo, Tom focuses on making XR practical and useful for manufacturing, education, healthcare, heavy industries, defense, and the future of work. He enjoys experimenting with new tools and creative approaches that bring digital experiences closer to real-world needs.

Outside of work, Tom continues to create through sculpting, 3D printing, welding, and handmade crafts, from small clay figures to large outdoor snow sculptures. He brings curiosity, craftsmanship, and a hands-on approach to turning ideas into both digital and physical creations.
